Vocal expression and introduction to Raag theory; guitars; Percussions and drums; will be held at the workshop hall.
Successful music projects – Sachal Studio Lahore and Coke Studio Pakistan, will be held at the auditorium, along with panel discussions about developing a music curriculum for schools and colleges and implementing a workable system of intellectual property rights and royalty collection.
Performances of Folk, Qawwali, Rock, Classical and Fusion music as well as upcoming bands, featuring Imran Aziz Mian, Mekaal Hassan Band, Zeb & Hania, Arieb Azhar, Poor Rich Boy, Qayaas and many others will be held at the amphitheater.
The Music Mela Conference is an initiative of F|A|C|E in collaboration with PAK-US ALUMNI NETWORK, whose aim is to provide a boost to the fledgling music industry of Pakistan, through a series of music conferences and music related activity.
Besides featuring live performances of Folk, Fusion, Rock, Qawwali and Contemporary music, the Music Mela Conference will also host master workshops, presentations and panel discussions related to all aspects of the music industry; and thus provide a platform for musicians, artists, promoters, publishers, managers, educationists, students and lovers of music to come and work together for the enhancement of culture and the betterment of society.
